The Battlegrounds Wrestling Association has returned! Come in at 3:00 PM on Thursday to talk smack and take it to the squared circle. This time around, the Palladium system (Ninjas & Superspies, specifically) will be used to resolve the in-ring action but the promos and jaw-jacking are entirely up to you!

Two new lines have landed at Battlegrounds: Palladium roleplaying games and World of Warcraft Miniatures Game! Palladium offers great titles like Rifts, Ninjas & Superspies, and the new Dead Reign zombie survival RPG. World of Warcraft Miniatures features characters from every class available in the World of WarCraft computer game, including signature heroes like Warchief Thrall, Leeroy Jenkins, High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind, and Archmage Arugal. Times up, let’s do this!

Battlegrounds has Player’s Handbook Power Cards for all classes. Here’s what Wizards.com says about this great add-on for D&D:

Player’s using Player’s Handbook Power Cards don’t need to crack open a rulebook every time they cast a spell—all the crucial information is right in front of their eyes.

Each and every class power appearing in the Player’s Handbook has its own card. Simply select the cards for your character’s powers and you’re ready to play!

Each deck of 100 cards includes all the powers from Player’s Handbook for one of the eight classes featured in the book, plus a few blank cards for players to use for other powers.

The display box includes sixteen decks of power cards: two decks apiece for the cleric, fighter, paladin, ranger, rogue, warlock, warlord, and wizard.

The long-awaited Player’s Handbook 2 is now available for purchase at Battlegrounds! Past favourites like druids, barbarians, gnomes, and half-orcs return in this mighty tome, as well as new classes like the Avenger. Saturdays at Battlegrounds are now Wargame Club presented by the Warrior Clan. Come out and play games like Confrontation, AT-43, Monsterpocalypse, Mutant Chronicles, and Axis & Allies and earn victory points for yourself and your clan! The cost is only $5 for the day no matter how many games you play. This environment is a lot more casual than a tournament but still has the potential for big monthly victory point give-aways.

On Thursday nights at Battlegrounds the Wizard Clan presents RPG Club. The GMs you know & love are going to be on a rotating schedule behind the screen doing mini campaigns of 4-6 weeks in length. This is a great way to try out that game you saw on the shelf but weren’t sure how it would play!

On June 7th not only with the long-awaited 4th Edition of Dungeons and Dragons be released but Battlegrounds will be one of many stores world-wide to be participating in Worldwide D&D Game Day. There will be several DMs at Battlegrounds on Saturday June 7th that will be running a brand new 4th Edition D&D adventure. Participants will receive free miniatures and character sheets. Space is limited so show up when the store opens to be among the first to play 4th Edition D&D. Did we mention it was free?
